Komikern och tv-värden Stephen Colbert, från The Late Show, tycker inte att man driver långt nog med sittande presidenten, så han tänker göra en tecknad serie.
Serien lär nog bli likt Family Guy men med Donald Trump i huvudrollen. Självklart har inte Trump själv gått med på att vara en del i serien och är nog rätt så förbannad, fast om den blir populär nog lär han nog dyka upp på riktigt.
“I know a lot of people wanted to do this, and I’m honored that the Cartoon President invited our documentary crew into his private world. I’ve seen some of the footage, and I look forward to sharing the man behind the MAGA,” förklarar Stephen Colbert.
Showtime, som står bakom produktionen säger “turnaround time on production will be swift… enabling current events to play a role in the colorful exploits of Trump and his band of others. Stephen and Chris have an uncanny genius for deconstructing the world of President Trump, and this series opens a new realm for them. Their vision will produce a comedy that makes waves, gets attention and plays great on our networks, including our streaming service.”
